Every leader leaves a mark. Most never see theirs. Not because it's hidden, but because it's written in a place they don't look: in how people describe working for them when they're not in the room.

The mark is being drafted daily, in tiny decisions you've stopped noticing. The only real choice is whether you ever read the draft, or let it get written entirely by accident.
